1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of functiondynamic.com, including its resources and tools. By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

These terms cover the website only. Any work we do for clients is governed by a separate written agreement.

2. Who we are

This site is operated by Function Dynamic Inc., a corporation incorporated under the federal laws of Canada ("Function Dynamic", "we", "us"). You can reach us at support [at] functiondynamic [dot] com.

3. Using the site

You may use the site for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• scrape, crawl or copy the site by automated means;
• use the tools in an automated or bulk manner;
• probe, scan or test the security of the site without our written permission;
• interfere with the site, its servers or other visitors; or
• use the site for anything unlawful or harmful.

4. Resources and code snippets

You may use the code snippets in our resources freely in your own projects, including commercial work, without attribution.

Snippets, guides and videos are offered in good faith, as-is and without warranty. You use them at your own discretion and risk. If you are not comfortable with that, please do not use them.

Always test code in a sandbox or development environment, and back up your data, before using anything in production.

5. Tools

Our tools run entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter into them is sent to or stored by us. Results are provided as-is; please check them before relying on them.

6. Contact form

The contact form is the only place where the site collects information from you. What you submit is stored in our customer relationship management system, hosted by Zoho, and is also subject to Zoho's privacy policy. See our privacy policy for details.

7. Our content

All articles, videos, illustrations, designs and other content on the site are owned by Function Dynamic or its licensors, and all rights are reserved, except for code snippets as described above.

You may link to our pages and quote short excerpts with credit and a link back to the source. Any other use, including republishing or copying content, requires our express written consent.

8. Children

This site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Third parties and trademarks

The site may link to or embed content from third parties, such as YouTube videos. We are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.

Zoho and other product names mentioned on the site are trademarks of their respective owners.

10. No warranty

The site and everything on it are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Nothing on the site is professional, legal or financial advice.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Function Dynamic is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, or for any loss of data, revenue or profit, arising from your use of the site, its resources or its tools. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to CAD 100.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Ontario.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time by posting a new version on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
